MuYI HUB is a Youth Creative, Resilience and Innovation HUB is a concept that aims to empower young people by providing them with the resources and support they need to be creative, resilient, and innovative. This can include educational opportunities, mentorship, access to technology and other resources, and opportunities to collaborate with other young people.

Objective

The objective of a MuYI HUB are;

1. To empower youn people by providing them with the resources and support they need to be creative, resilient, and innovative.
2. Opportunities, mentorship, access to technology and other resources, and opportunities to collaborate with other young people.
3. To help young people develop the skills, knowledge, and mindset they need to be successful in their chosen field and to be able to drive positive change in their communities.

The Hub Spaces

The Hub is a structure that makes sure that it is a ones stop shop for creatives in Mukuru, below are some of the spaces already available at the hub.

MuYI Dance Space

MuYI HUB dance space is a dedicated area within the hub that is for dance training and practice.  The space would be used to provide young people with access to dance training and practice, with the goal of empowering them to be creative, resilient, and innovative in their dance practice and performance.

Some activities that the dance space offers include:

1. Dance classes: The dance space offers classes in various dance styles, such as hip-hop, contemporary and more, to help young people develop their dance skills.
2. Choreography workshops: The dance space offers workshops on choreography, which would give young people the opportunity to create and perform their own dance pieces.
3. Performance opportunities: The dance space provides young people with opportunities to perform in front of an audience, such as in recitals, talent shows, or community events.
4. Mentorship: The dance space provides mentorship to young dancers, connecting them with experienced dancers who can provide guidance and advice on how to improve their skills.
5. Networking: The dance space hosts networking events and opportunities to connect young dancers with other dancers and professionals in the dance industry.

MuYI HUB Studio is specifically designed for audio and video production. The studio typically has equipment such as microphones, audio interfaces, mixing consoles, and a control room, as well as video cameras, lighting, and editing software.

The studio offers young people the opportunity to learn and practice audio and video production skills, with the goal of empowering them to be creative, resilient, and innovative in their audio and video production work.

MuYI HUB studio offers:

1. Audio and video production classes: The studio offers classes on various aspects of audio and video production, such as recording, mixing, mastering, and video editing.
2. Music Production and Recording : We provide quality music recording and video for artist around Mukuru. The studio involve sponsorship from selected artists through criteria that we work on, other artist also access the studio at an affordable fee.
3. Recording sessions: The studio  provides young people with the opportunity to record their own music or create their own videos in a professional setting.
4. Mentorship: The studio provides mentorship to young audio and video producers, connecting them with experienced professionals who can provide guidance and advice on how to improve their skills.
